1987 Ranger 360V w/150 merc and Quicksilver throttle/ign. switch. What type of mounting hardware/nuts/clips??? did Ranger use on the back of the 3 long screws that mount the throttle assy to the side of the boat. I had to take it off to work on the ignition switch and when I re-installed the 3 long screws they would not catch/attach. I wouldn't think they would install something that would not be re-usable?? Thanks for any help...!!!

Re: Throttle assy mounting hardware

In order to remove the screws, the nuts would have to be held in some fashion, either blind nuts with prongs or some type of nut plate. Have you tried to get one or more of the screws to catch without the throttle assembly in place? Maybe just a little more line up room is needed to start them.
