Thread size for temp sensor in head.

1999 Johnson 70 hp 2 stroke.

On the right side of the top cyl there is a blind hole that is threaded into the head.

Would be perfect place for me to install a temp sensor.

Anyone know what size the thread is?

I need to order a gauge and sending unit.

Thread size is 1/8-27 NPT


This is the blind threaded hole immediately to the right of the top cyl spark plug when you are standing looking at the exhaust port in the prop

Purchased a temp sensor and gauge to go in here to keep an eye on things.
