my favorite place in the world is the Thousand<br />Islands 
) we catch some fish but never do that<br />well... usually launch from Wellsley Island where<br />it's pretty shallow, this year from Clayton where<br />it can be deeper.<br />the next cabin over landed some great smallmouth,<br />the biggest 16 1/2" (6LBS!!) on a grub jig.<br />we landed a few baby northern (25-27"), but was<br />wondering if any of you folks had any experience<br />in these waters.<br />PS> the kids had a ball and caught a zillion<br />perch
