Hey all hoping to put together a vacation next summer or this fall to the Thousand Islands area, any of you guys live there, or fish there? I have heard some really great things about this area and have been wanting for years to trailer my boat there and fish some of the local hot spots. Just curious and would love some local or first hand information. Thank you all in advance! Stuart8)

im not giving up my secret holes!!!!! but ill give you tips. go on to a map program and get the sattelite images. theres youll be able to see the holes and lakes and rivers. youll be able to see how deep they are.then take a chart from there and mark the spots you can, and cant go. the tide is nuts youll be able to get into a river or lake at one time but 5 hours later your stuck till the next tide. be carefull.what kind of boat you got there. theres alot of space out there so a chartplotter is essential. need a gps unit that can track a course. its very easy to get lost in there! grand slams are an everyday thing, redfish, snook, tarpon all are plentiful!!!
