so I gues I'm going into the weekend without the new fuel filter I wanted to put on.

Hopefully their customer service can get it sent overnight. While calling around for this filter that nobody has a mechanic told me over the phone that he thinks it is the carbs. I'm sure that's possible. I'd like to be change the filter anyway if I could.
My plan for the weekend since the new filter may not be available is to dump a whole 16 ounce bottle of ring free into my 30 gallon tank.
Perhaps that will clean up enough of the system so that I can get through the weekend without the problem getting any worse at least.
Is it possible to overtreat? I know this isn't exactly a shock treatment (2 to 1) but it should do some good right?
I normally run ring free through every tank at about 1 ounce per 10 gallons or as close as I can get to that by eyeballing it.
