I know it may be too late since the weekend is over.<br /><br />If you have access to a boat and are fishing on a lake or river, limb lines are a lot of fun and can be extremely productive.<br /><br />I like to use goldfish or perch with the bait just about 6" under water. Find a nice strong limb to tie onto and let the bait have some room to move around without getting tangled in something. His movement will create some stiring of the water, and those flatheads will come up and take care of him quick. <br />You can catch some hugh fish this way...

huh... not sure if that is legal in AZ, never heard of it... I will check it out.<br /><br />I caught one (on lake from 6:30 pm to 6:30 am), I think we were too deep.

Good Point,<br /><br />Check the regulations for the lake or river you are fishing.. Many limit how many lines you can set out, and require your name and address to be on each line (I use a small piece of wood to wrap the nylon line around), and they require that they be checked within 12-24 hours....
