This is from a NZ newspaper, but the story relates to an incident here in Australia.
I shake my head in amazment at both the situation and their age.
(Keep in mind, we have had further flooding on a colossal scale)

Good for the boys...I've heard that Australia is Mostly Outback/Boonies, with a few cities along the coasts....plenty of places to get lost!
