okay on my boat i have a lights toggle switch a main power a bilge a aeorator and an acc could any one tell me what the acc toggle switch is for its a 1981 astroglass with a 1985 150 mercury non oil injected

no telling, could be cigarette light, or just a receptical. follow the wire.

It's the switch you hook up your GPS, VHS, Depth finder or stereo to.

Any thing that you want to hook up as an auxilary power source, mine has it too.

I have a 1980 Astroglass 176, and that switch turns the power on to the guages, radio, and running lights. The other switch is a master power switch, the third switch is for the bilge pump, and the 4th is for the live wells.

The previous owner of my boat wired the stereo straight to the battery. It was one of the first things I changed - I wired it through the Acc switch. I'm also going to hook up my cigarette lighter to it, because I'll also have a Sirious reciever plugged into it most of the time.

Make sure you put a fuse inbetween your wires

The Acc switch itself is already fused, and yes because nearly anything could be plugged into the cigarette lighter, I'll be putting an inline fuse on it. I'm sure I'll get brave and hook up an inflater to or or something!

I have three empty fuse slots under my console for hooking "suff up to, do you have empty ones too??

acc is for wiring what ever you need to and yes i've got empty fuse slots for the same--all should have so you don't overload the same fuses
