This is a new one... Mud wasp nest IN the igntion...

Was giving a newly acquired Sea King 5hp a physical, discovered no spark in one cylinder. Pulled the flywheel cover to see if we were lucky enough to find new coils (I was) but also discovered this built into the points, primary and ground strap area. Persistent little buggers! Anyway, I popped the flywheel, blew everything out with compressed air, dressed the points, and now we've got spark!

Them buggers like them spots! Never had them there but had em most other places.

Yes, they do nest in some strange places. At least it was a simple fix!
