That is a hoot. Many years ago, a co-worker of my father's was involved in a bitter divorce. One Saturday, he lite up the chainsaw, carried it in the back door, and began halving all the furniture. Not sure how that ended.

I dunno Haut. She got the better end of the stick. She has half a house and the property. Who could argue with that. Unless, of course, the house was mortgaged.

In America, he'd have gotten half the house and the WHOLE mortgage.

Reminds me of the story of a guy who, facing an imminemt divorce obtained a demolition permit and bulldozed his house. The police told the to-be ex-wife that he could do anything to the house he wanted as long as he had the proper permit and still legally owned the house. Gotta love redneck ingenuity:)
