I can paste it right into IE as is, and it comes up. No googling necessary

This boat and trailer are so well balanced together, you can lift the trailer tongue off the ground with one hand WHILE THE BOAT IS ON THE TRAILER and the boat will balance.

HIs terms of credit cracked me up! If I were closer I would offer him the $1000 and forget the financing!

Re: This Boat Add cracks me up!

This guy is honestly funny. His Craig's list add said "No foreign sales or offers will be entertained. If you're not from the Las Vegas area, do not bother me with silliness." I sent him this:

Any more pictures? I know I am supposed to be from Las Vegas, but if I ask real nice and come get her this weekend would you sell to a scumbag from LA?

He sent back:

Hi Kevin!

Please don't take offense to my dry, unsalesman-like tone... It's just that I am not trying to "SELL" the boat with schmooze and color-commentary, I enjoyed the boat, time to move up and in a different direction and I am offering this one to somebody who might have a tight budget and cannot afford a $30,000 water toy and is looking for something to run around the lake or river in, do some fishing, skiing, etc.

I think perfection was advertised lower on the craigslist.org page, this boat is about fun, ease, budget and opportunity... it has small issues, nothing that cannot be taken care of in a weekend on a Walmart Greeter's budget.

Tons of video of the boat in action, pics, descriptions.

Additional videos taken this past weekend... attempted to wax the boat, but the wind began blowing severely and we had to stop, the bow of the boat is waxed, had to put the boat out of harm's way before the rest got waxed.

No problem selling to anyone from LA, already turned down two offers of $1,700 and $1,750 so if you're entertaining the idea of less than $1,800 you might want to see Cirque du Soleil instead.

Be sure to read the description carefully and completely... all items of note-worthieness are included in the description, with the exception that I am throwing in a Slalom water ski and an inflatable Wave Rider, roughly six feet in diameter, it tows along behind the boat like an inflatable island.

The guy who offered me $1,750 wanted to play games... he wanted to haggle more than he wanted a boat apparently. I know what the boat is, she is not beautiful, she is a little old, the motor cover needs a new latch, the black duct tape holding that shut looks far worse than it really is and I have described the boat to the best of my ability and certainly I will entertain any serious offers.

My intention is to sell the boat to somebody who may not have the budget for a bigger boat, a newer boat or a prettier boat... perhaps the first-time boat buyer on a fixed budget who just wants to get in the water and do some fishing or having some fun with his family. That is exactly what the boat meant to me and I got MORE out of this boat than the $2,700 I paid for it. But... I am ALLERGIC to haggling when it becomes ridiculous. The boat is worth $1,800 cash... a guy offered me $1,700 for the motor alone and if you look at motors on craigslist, you can see why... but I want to sell it whole to somebody who can enjoy it as much as I have, not chop it up and throw it away.

I am not starving. The fridge is full. Though I do give away more than many people earn each year, I will not be giving this boat away THIS YEAR.

I will entertain offers between $1,800 and $2,000 CASH without haggling. Each time a price less than $1,800 is mentioned, the boat price goes up $100. I'm easy that way!

No checks! No money orders! No winning Lottery Tickets! No Diamonds! No trades! 'Cept cash or a 6 piece DW Collectors Series Drum kit with at least four Zildjian cymbals.

Hope you have a safe trip to Vegas and did not suffer due to the fires in LA, SD, Malibu...

Let me know if you are serious and I can arrange a viewing.

Thanks,

JD

Wordy dude, isn't he? It would take me about 2 hours to type all that ... would be worth selling it for $750 just so I didn't have to type any more! LOL!

Too funny. I'd have to be getting at least 20k out of it to type that much!

Seems like a pretty colorful character to say the least. I would say it would be worth the trip for nothing else but to buy the guy a beer; entertaining!
