This one is sure to chase posters away from the site. Its been doing it since day one of your update. Some of us realize that if you hit post and this error comes up if you ignore it and hit refresh the post is actually there. But for many they won't know this.

Tip: always "copy" or "select all" of new your post . . .before you try and post it, so if the site screws your post up you don't lose it and can simply paste into your empty thread (as long as you don't copy something else and erase what was in your copy memory or turn your machine off it will be in the "paste" memory). Restore is a super new feature, but it does not always work.

If the post usually actually posted anyway to the thread after hitting refresh why not get rid of this error message below complexly?
It serves no purpose other than to chase away frustrated users to other forums since its been there so long without being fixed.

And no, I did not search this thread to see if its been addressed already. At this point who really cares. either way, its still there on a high percentage of my posts.

So just CLOSE THE THREAD if thats what floats the boat of the mods who don't want to hear about the same repeated issues

Site has made great progress, but should these type of errors really still be here at this point?

From my understanding, and what our IT guys are telling me... vBulletin created their software to work with a MySQL database, recently Oracle purchased MySQL and changed a lot of things around. So we went with the new "MySQL" (not sure on the name), and it appears this is where a lot of the issues came from. Last week we switched databases back to a stable version of MySQL that hasn't been touched by Oracle. Again, we are working with the vBulletin support team to fix any errors we come across, so Yes the issue should be resolved, please be patient.

We would appreciate it if everyone did a search for their issue prior to posting, having multiple threads on the same issue just causes confusion and makes the process longer for our IT guys.
