Deputies: Burglar falls down stairs, is killed while breaking into home

A South Carolina burglar died in a fall down a flight of stairs in the home he had broken into, the Spartanburg County Sheriff?s Office said Thursday.

Hmmm, story doesn't say how many times the home owner had to drag him back to the top of the stairs and give him a push. :D :D :D

First thing that came to my mind............ tripping hazards are a good defensive tool.

Karma is good, but my guess is there will be a law suit and the family of the "home invaision" artist because they didnt provide a safe environment to steal items from.

You think I'm kidding?
Or the company that built the steps will get sued, anyone with $$ that was tied to this will get screwed!

Re: Thieves and Karma???

A couple years ago a car crashed head on into a tree across the street from my house. The guy driving died on the spot.

It was a horrible event and I couldn't sleep at all that night. Saw in the news the next morning that the guy had just broken into a business man's hotel room, beat him and stole this car. Apparently, in his hurry to get away, didn't make the slight curve across from my house. I slept soundly the next night knowing that the guy pretty much deserved what he brought onto himself.
