Wal-Mart: We're not afraid to say Merry Christmas

November 9 2006: 12:19 PM EST

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Wal-Mart has told its employees that it's OK to once again greet shoppers by saying "Merry Christmas" this holiday season instead of the generic "Happy Holidays."

CNN confirmed that Wal-Mart will announce Thursday that it plans to use the phrase "Merry Christmas" in products and around its stores this holiday season.

Yeah, prob trying to head off the doom and gloom predictions for the 2007 economy...well, it's the doom and gloom coming out of one camp. Their predictions have x-mas sales in the toilet this year.

Yea that's right you godless freaks, we're saying Christmas again with emphasis on the word Christ because that's what it's all about! Well that and all the cheap crap we're selling in here so come on in and bring it home to the US#%# er nevermind we're not doing that anymore but come on in anyway!

Why is this even news? I'm not offended by what they say at the front door. This whole war on Christmas mess was/is just another way to use Christians as tools to support an agenda.

I don't even want to be at WalMart so why not just get out of my way and let me go get my dog food.

Last Christmas when I checked out at Wal-Mart the cashier wished me a Merry Christmas. I replied "Merry Christmas" and asked if she would get in trouble say that. She said that no one told her that could not.

That's because the whole "war on Christmas" nonsense was a non-event.

I've been in a Walmart exactly once in my life, and see no reason whatsoever to return.

They've also dropped prices on over 100 electronic goods well before the holiday season.

Thanks Wallyworld!

Although I am happy about Wal-Mart's stand on declaring "Merry Christmas", I am still angry over their continued support for the "Gay rights" and same-sex marriage riff-raff.

Consequently, I still refuse to shop at Wal-Mart.
