I have searched the threads for a definitive answer on this and I just can not find one, so I was hoping someone can help me out. I am replacing the thermostat on my 1992 omc cobra 5.7L and was wondering if I should put anything on the o-ring that holds it in place? I have seen a few different answers from using triple guard grease, using nothing, and also putting a gasket seal on it. Just curious which would be best. Thank you!
