We have been watching both of these guys and out of respect for our policies we did not arbitrarily decide to ban him/them prior to today. This was over the top, disrespectful to all of you, and we discovered some inconsistencies in the story that sealed the deal for us. They're gone, done etc. . . .

I knew it! The story was too unbelievable from the get go but I didn't want to say anything. The tone of it didn't sounded like someone who had just lost his friend.
I wouldn't be surprised that they're the same person since they seemed to always backing each other up on their stories. Similar thing happened on my local fishin board.

I thought it was baloney when I got to the part about the 4 year old driving the boat back to the marina. I knew it was nonsense after the thing about jumping out of an aircraft with no parachute.

Dude probably doesn't even own a boat. He was talking about following a bass boat with 250hp around in his 115hp boat. Anyone makes that claim knows nothing about boat.

The only time I can let my five year old "steer all by himself like a big boy," is when I am in a lake, with no other boats around and moving at a few mph. Let's just say that we get to see all of the points on the compass, when he is driving!

Sad someone stooped so low. Hindsight is 20/20 but when someone posts a bereavement or prayer request the natural reaction is to offer whatever comfort you can from a keyboard.
However for every one of this type of thread there are countless requests that are for real.

It almost (almost) make you feel pity for such an empty soul to have to post things like that to make themselves feel important, to affect others in a deeply emotional way. Their life must be so lacking in the basics of humanity that they have a need to do these kinds of things.
