Well, I have been on the watch for a week and Timmy has hung around so far. We had a horse incounter the other day here.. It was too funny. The turkey stayed exactly 2 feet in front of me and ruffled his feathers at the horse's. The horse's were doin fine until he started the feather thing. They acted up and my neighbors got a good laugh at the seen and moved on.. Timmy every morning has been gracing himself at my slider door, with a peck on the glass.. He doesn't miss a meal.. He has filled out and is lookin good, real good.. But I can't eat him, he is my baby and we do the turkey run down the driveway, it is too funny to watch.. Everyone in our neighborhood looks forward to seeing Timmy the Turkey and the rest of the flock of feathered friends. He now knows his name and comes when called.
Sorry, but Timmy is staying around and not a dinner special.. I bought a frozen 12lb. Turkey last week on sale for $2.58 . Yep for the whole turkey. It was the rest of the extra's that cost me.. Doing Thanksgiving alone, but I may just take the boat to the lake.. If am lucky no one else will do the same. The weather here is suppose to be gorgeous on Thursday.
Thanks Turkey Bird Day
Gooble, Gooble
