I purchased this business 8 yrs ago and there are so many places that we keep finding stuff that is NEW, yet old, that our saying has become "Look for one thing, find another."
I came across these gems yesterday.

That brings back memories as I worked for a Chrysler dealer back in '73 to '76. They were a good motor in their day and very easy to work on. Not like today.:joyous:

Re: The stuff you find around an old shop !!!

We have a shelf unit with about 30 "parts bin" style boxes that are full of about any miscellaneous chrysler/force part ever made. I had a guy drive 3 hours to purchase a shift tower link kit (that I had 3 of) because we were the only place he could find one on the East Coast.
The amount of used parts in what we call "The Back Bay" is almost unreal. This winter we have started to organize it and catalog it.
I have ALL the factory service manuals from Chrysler, Force,US Marine, Elgin, and some names that I had never heard of. We are known for specializing in Force motors and the "mega dealers" don't even look at them. They just send them right to us. This has become our "niche" that has helped us become the last "Mom and Pop" operation on the lake. Of course we also have the latest STATS tool from Sierra so we can serve our customers that own late model engines.
Now if we could just get rid of this damned snow I could install the 3 powerheads that I have ready to go...... 6+ inches for tomorrow...AGAIN !!!
