Marriage is like playing cards: In the beginning you have two hearts and a diamond. By the end, you wish you had a club and a spade...

Relax JB..all in jest

Jest waiting...lol

I understand that, Kev, and they are funny, but in an unkind way.

It is a sensitive topic to me. I am much more inclined to talk about the blessings of a marriage than to bad mouth the imperfections.

Why do married men die before their wives.............. Because they want to!! :)

This is from someone who is happily married for 30 years!

I'm just glad to have a woman that puts up w me and my own imperfections. I think i would have a hard time finding another one up to the challenge!!!

These jokes make me think of a line from the movie Hot Shots

"I could never find time for love. It's too heavy. It's an anchor that drowns a man."

Hey, and its got boat content!

Points for bringing nautical back :D

When my woman and I were dating, we would take long walks along California beaches at sunset..
As I would try to decide which was more beautiful, her or the golden sunset being painted on the water, I often thought
"I could make whopee to her right now and nobody would see"
Now, ten years later here as we walk along Florida's magnifecent beaches I look at her and often think
"I could kill her and nobody would see"

LOL..she knows I love her, and yes, woman knock us as much as we knock them, but what would we do without them?

I have to say that it is far easier to poke fun at something we are comfortable with and be ok with it than to try to make jokes about an uncomfortable situation and not feel guilty. My wife and I frequently poke fun at each other and there's no guilt. We love each other unconditionally and both know exactly how the other feels. Like I said before, we have a slightly unconventional marriage, but we are celebrating our 13th year of blissful happiness!!

A man marries a woman and is disappointed when she changes. A woman marries a man and is disappointed when he doesn't change.

The skeletal remains of a Roman-era couple have been unearthed showing the pair had been holding hands for the past 1,500 years. I wonder if they wore rings? :CLICKY:

It seems you try and kill any joke that is posted here...if you don't like them , don't read them. Many of us are getting a bit tired of your 'fatherly political correctness'.
If you want to talk about the blessings of a marriage , start your own thread. ;)

A fair point, Stachi. I will try to restrain myself.
