Just bought a 1972 I/O with a B20 Volvo engine and a 270 Merc drive. MAnual says 10/40 sae oil. One man regular engine oil would be fine for this old engine. One told me 25/40 marine engine oil. One told me to use synthetic. All of them worked on outboards. Does anyone know for sure. Any help will be appreciated.
