we saw a few snow flakes this morning on Cape Cod, but nothing like the rest of the northeast is seeing. The weather channel cannot stop talking about the record ice on the Great Lakes.

The sad part of this winters weather pattern for us in the northeast is that the cold polar vortex sweeping down from canada froze the great lakes over. Even after they finally unfreeze the winds will still pass over the cold water and blow east. I dont expect much of a summer around here. Bad enough summer for us is only july and august I might have to invest in some type of device that can throw off some heat. I'm thinking so far maybe a 25 year old BLONDE

We still have ice on the lakes in June. Then two months of crappy snowmobiling. Then back to winter!

They are still icefishing on tge bay,and some dare to go out to the islands. Last week,50deg. Today,12-18" of snow expected...

About when I get sick of boating each year, snowmobile season starts and on goes the pattern.

They are still icefishing on tge bay,and some dare to go out to the islands. Last week,50deg. Today,12-18" of snow expected...

Parts of the cities here got 19" yesterday...we got about 8" at my house...there was a sharp rain/snow cut off that went right through the middle of the city.

These late storm are like living in an Eastern state where it melts quickly. I didn't bother snowblowing like my neighbors did...just take advantage of having 4x4 on both vehicles and crank through it.

I love all 4 distinct seasons we get in Michigan. I have toys and activities for every darn one of them. If I didn't enjoy them I would move to where I did enjoy what mother nature gives. Living in heat for more than 3-4 months is very unappealing for me, because one things for sure, weather will always change, and I love change, always have.

Living in heat for more than 3-4 months is very unappealing for me, because one things for sure, weather will always change, and I love change, always have.

I couldn't agree more. Recently bought a 4 wheeler to bridge the boating and snowmobiling gap. Pretty much got every season covered now. My folks got sick of it and retired to Hawaii some years back which just baffles me. It's the same pretty much every day.

I saw that on the radar. The rain/snow line literally cut the city in half... I would have drove down to the south half and stayed in a motel....Lol
