Hey everyone, Im hoping to get some help from the pro's here!
I know were the serial number on the motor is, But dont know which numbers are the year. From reading posts on here, I gather its in the 80's. Its the old honda 100, 10 horse, with the white top, blue leg, and, and yellow prop. You must know what im talking about! Now we know what motor were dealing with here, Heres The problum:
I changed the lower leg oil. It was old, and dark, But not milky. No water in it.
I then changed the motor oil. I couldnt tell if it was milky. If it was, It was slight. But! It smelt strongly of fuel. From reading posts on here, You will probly tell me the fuel filter if leaking, through the valve cover its mounted on. But that doesnt consern me, Since its an easy fix. But theres always a twist, And here it is: This motor has two very small holes in the bottom of the leg, The very bottom. Ive been running the motor in a garbage bucket on the lawn. After Iv ran the motor for a while, When removed the bucket of water and let the motor sit up right, Milky oil slowly oozes out of the holes. First it stared in one hole, then it was the second hole when the motor was sitting slight tilted up. I dont know whats going on, or were this oily goo is coming from. When I gently blow compressed oil up through the teltail, The oil goo seems to all blow out, untill the motor sits again for a couple hours, then it will start to seep again.
Can anybody give me some advice on what might be happeing?
Thanks for any help!
