I'm poaching some Crappie in the dishwasher tonight.

brave man.....i wouldnt dare use the dishwasher for anything other than dishes that have been rinsed. i think getting caught poaching a fish would mean trouble especially after i promised never to miss use the dishwasher again (got caught using it to clean wrenchs and sockets, they were clean just missing the dishwasher sparkle)

so what did it taste like ?

I used to wash hub caps in the dishwasher until I got caught. Fish would get me sent to the appliance store.

I used my dishwasher for cleaning transmission parts. I doubt I would put food in it.

I keep my dishwasher clean and it's used for cleaning dishes that I eat off of.

The fish was wrapped in foil and was excellent, the next best thing to fried... I'll be cooking it like this again!

The wife won't admit how good it was... but she ate all of both of her fillets.

I keep my dishwasher clean and it's used for cleaning dishes that I eat off of.

The fish was wrapped in foil and was excellent, the next best thing to fried... I'll be cooking it like this again!

glad it worked out well. might come in usefull when you have lots of guests as theres a lot of room in there........i believe you if you say that you would never use a kitchen gadget for something that was not food especially if the wife reads the forum

I only said I use the dishwasher for dishes, I didn't say anything about the other appliances... like the hand held electric cake mixer I used to mix sheetrock mud with.

No, the wife doesn't read the forum.

always remember my little girl waking me up from a nap on the sofa and saying "oh your in so much trouble when mummy finds out" turns out that you can not sub washing up liquid for dishwasher soap even if you think the door is water tight the bubbles find a way out.
