The boating season has just started...

So far I forgot to renew the tags on the trailor. I noticed before leaving the drive way, thankfully. I went to start the motor in the drive to test it out with the earmuffs. No start. hmmm... look at it and decide to go get my hair cut and come back to it later. Took one look and laughed at myself while I removed the negative ignition cable from the positive post, where it was connected with the positive ignition cable as well. That won't work! Now it tried to start and after a few times and primeing the fuel, it started and idled. <br /><br />So, that is my stupid stunts so far this season.

You know I asked myself the same thing. The only thing I can think of is I was talking to my boys and pointing some other things out about the boat. It's also an older boat with generic cables.<br /><br />I guess being schooled in electronics and being a network engineer doesn't count for squat this time.
