The best place to buy Merc parts...

Good morning,<br />I have a few projects I would like to get done on my 70hp (1977) outboard this winter. Impeller change, new seals, wires, etc.<br />Anyway, where is the best place to buy parts for this engine? There isn't any boat parts stores in my area that I know of (North Jersey), so where is a good online place that has good service? (I already know of Iboats )<br /><br />Thanks<br />Jim

You can order them directly from Mercury at their web site.<br /><br /> http://www.mercurypartsexpress.com/PartsExpress/ProductSelection/ServiceParts/sphome.asp?CID= <br /><br />You need to enter the serial number.<br />Then it will take you to the parts charts and diagram that match your motor.<br /><br />They should have seal kits for your lower unit, carbs, gaskets, thermostats, etc.

NAPA autoparts stores can get them. You need the part numbers?
