Re: Thanksgiving Pics

It was 75ish to almost 80 from around 11:00 'til 4:00. Warm in the sun when we were idling along. A little cool up on plane etc. With a sweater and at night a windbreaker, it was great.

Let me know if you want any more tips . . .

Re: Thanksgiving Pics

QC,

You should post pics every week until you have to haul out. Some of us won't even see our boat for another 5 months. Looks like a beautiful day on the water.

I have to go cry now.

Roger, Park Moabi . . . I kinda grew up going to Willow Valley. We go to the Gorge and the I40 Bridge for breakfast a lot. Do you come down river when you are there?

In a week trip we do a trip to the zoo, and 1 to the casinos. I've jumped off the bridge at Topoc so I know the area well. Great Burgers
We seen it at about 120 degrees

I used to run all the way up to Laughlin too, but haven't in so long I'm afraid to now . . . We're gonna get moved to Boating Activities if we're not careful. That's where young threads go to die.

You're killin' me QC! Had to work 48 hours Thanksgiving and the day after. We took the wife's family out earlier this week though and it felt great. Great pictures BTW, looks like a fine time! :)

Re: Thanksgiving Pics

Again, sorry to rub it in, but I thought I deserved some credit for actually making boating happen on Thanksgiving. Actually, it was the wife's idea and then she tried to talk me out of it. We were going to make the 4 1/2 hour drive to Havasu (BIL house) anyway, so it made sense to tow the boat out there. She started saying "it's a family day" and stuff like that . . . after saying really good things like "we swore we would never leave the boat home again, remember?" Up . . . Down . . .

In her infinite wisdom she finally said, yeah, if we don't take the boat you'll just whine all day . . . Smart woman!!! :D

Looks Great !!
I use the same dock when we go get Pizza up on top.And the kids swim in the pool at the Hotel right there,We always stay at the Naticaul Inn and it looks thats where you took the last picture. This year in June we have a second floor room on the Canal at the Agavie Inn.
We just love Havasu.

Sometimes I am embarrassed to admit it, but Havasu is a zoo for a reason. Great place.

Yup, usually the Nautical for us too. I really like the newer section on the other side of the docks etc. I've decided the London Bridge resort is best early and late season because of the slips. I've thought about the Agave, but it looks hot with all of that concrete. Let us know what you think . . . We also dock there to pick up Pizzas and then eat on the beach at the Nautical.

Thanks for reviving the thread KRS. I was pretty sure this was dead. Almost took the pics down . . .

Re: Thanksgiving Pics

Can't take down the pics, they provide inspiration for us to go boating! I'm going to the other thread that originally took me here, looking at that spring trip...
