Wife, kids and I took our boat out to a local lake this weekend for five hours of fun. Everything went great. As my signature line states below - we're relatively new at this, and don't really have any veteran boater to show us the ropes. But after taking a boating course, watching some videos, and - most of all - getting great advice on this forum - we looked like pros. We launched and retrieved the boat quickly and safely (though we've made a few mistakes in the last few months!).

Just wanted to say 'thanks' to everyone that participates in the forum and answers questions. There were a few times when we were on the water and I told my wife "see how easy that was?"...learned that on iboats. She rolled her eyes at me, but I'm pretty sure she appreciated my new-found knowledge. ;)

Thanks again!

It is good to read a "good story" with a happy ending. Trust me..... many many wives, girlfriends and significant other's roll their eyes :D

Safe boating!
