I just want to thank you for keeping this board community alive with rich content. I just finished a major tune up of a 1959 Evinrude 3 HP Golden Jubilee model that has been in the family since my dad bought it new for fishing on the family vacations. I don't think it had been serviced in thirty years or more.
Everything went smooth thanks to the helpful information on this board and links to other sites about this motor in particular. Once ready to go, it started up on the second pull. Grinn.
I will be using it to power my 8 foot pram to some choice fly fishing locations in the Sierra Nevada this year and most likely for many years to come.
