Enough negativity.
GF and I went to a great show tonight on the SIU campus.
Robert Earle Keen, Todd Snider and Bruce Robison.
It's called the bar stool tour. Probably 3 of the best alt. country singer/songwriters working today, all on the same stage together.
They each did 20 min. solo sets, then all played together for over an hour.
R.E. Keen is probably best known for The Road Goes On Forever, a big hit by The Highwaymen. He and Lyle Lovett were college buddies at Texas A&M.
Bruce Robison has written #1 hits recorded by Tim McGraw/Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Gary Allan, Lee Ann Womack and George Strait.
And Todd Snider......,
well if you don't know who he is you have to go see him or buy a cd. You are guaranteed to laugh your a** and hear some great music all at the same time.
Most fun I've had in awhile.
