I'm usually unable to log on to the Foruem at all since the 'improvement', including this morning. Even when I can log in, I haven't been able to post anything I write because 'I am not authorized to perform that action.'

I was just able to log in, so I'm trying a post.

I just tried to write a long post in the Mercruiser I/O forum. 3/4 of the way through it I was logged out and lost it all. I was able to log back n this time, but I'm outta here for a month or so. It's just too frustrating...

JoLin - Make sure the keep me signed in or logged in box is checked in the log on drop down. I don't think I even had to log on between the old and new versions.

Oy. Just got the infamous "serious error.. page can't be rendered" error for the first time in a few days.

JoLin, please accept iboats apologies for your frustration during these trying times. As you can see the new changeover is not going as smoothly as hoped it would of. Just know that If you decide to go back to the topic, just above the write something... you should find highlighted in yellow (Previously entered content was automatically saved. Restore or Discard.) Just click on restore and everything you typed should still be there even if lots of time has passed. Hang in there, it's going to get better.

I was surprised when I was writing a reply and I inadvertently left the page. I said the heck with it and went to another thread and pasted a reply. I eventually came back to the one I messed up one and decided to try the restore. The text I had written was restored, even though I replied to other posts in between. So the text save is for a thread/topic, not a plain note pad save. Impressive!
