tempeture for volvo engine

I have a 3.0 1989 volvo penta IO with a closed colling system.After 5 minutes of running itgets up to 185 degrees is this to hot?I usually shut it down for feeling it might overheat i just got the boat

Is the Cooling System in Good Repair,..??....

185* Isn't out of line for a Closed Cooling System,.........
