Took my boat out to test motor 40hp evinrude in real condition,still overheating and rpm's limited.unhooked the tan wire to sensor in head and alarm stopped,but rpm's were still limited. Would this be proper operation or should the rpm limiter be overridden by disconnecting the wire also.Not going to run it this way just trying to troublshoot.
