temp sensor

Hey guys,<br /><br />I have a 96 Ocean Pro 225hp v6 that I premix 50:1<br /><br />Just installed a new temp gauge/sensor that installed on the starboard head top cylinder. Should there also be another gauge/sensor installed on the port side head?<br /><br />Thanks in advance.

It wouldn't hurt,Although you have overtemp alarm protection on both.

Is that the tan/blue wire that runs from the top of each bank of heads?

Afirmative.The tan/blue wires are the overtemp wires.The white/black one from the same is s.l.o.w. and quickstart feature.
