Tell tale hole???

1990 kawasaki 650TS When i run it with the hose the tell tale hole near the front of the ski doesn't ****..is this normal??should it only work when its in the water????? thanks Erik

how do i begin to trouble shoot this??? then engine sat for two years without any use..i just got it running again..thanks Erik

it probably has sand or critters in it, use a heavy line trimmer string and feed it in to clear out any obstruction

tried that it didn't work how can i tell if the wear ring or impeller is bad???what else should i do to try to trouble shoot it
