teleflex steering click ( 1 yr old system)

The steering on my whaler clicks a few times from lock to lock when I turn. System was installed by prior owner last year and has low few hours on it total including about 10hrs since I have owned the boat

Steering is smooth and not sloppy, what would cause the click? I have read numerous posts, but they all seem to involve other symptoms. I just have this annoying clicking and want to make sure it is safe to operate and/or easy to fix

do you have rack or rotary system?

it is a rotary system on my boat, any clue what may be going on with it?

to be honest not a clue, it think i would release it turn wheel to left to remove cable, then rethread it, by turning right, till the cable relocks.
