Teleflex CH1700 control installation

Just bought teleflex ch1700 control and cannot figue out how to remove the control arm to insert in boat...any help?

Instructions do not show how to remove the arm for installation

you don't you thread the control cable area through the hole you drilled that looks like there template ,don't forget to drill holes for the kill switch . also mount control cables on it per instructions before securing it
