Hello,

I borrowed my boat to a good friend this weekend...and he broke something in my steering. Long story short I probably needed to clean and grease the rods back by the motor, didn't, and my buddy put too much stress on one of the parts in the steering system when turning the boat going slow.

In looking at the Telefex NFB dual cable system, there is a long rectangular metal piece at the end of the cables. On one end of that piece there is a rubber end cap. On the other end, the cables come out and there is a metal bracket/piece/anchor that holds a couple copper fittings on the cables in place and allows the system to work. That metal bracket/piece/anchor, whatever you want to call it, is what broke. Looks like everything else in the system is ok to me.

My question is whether it is possible to replace just that bracket or what the fix is in this situation?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
