Hello all, new user here.
Just bougt a 79 12ft Klamath fishing boat 6 hp Johnson. great shape no trailer. Found my grandfathers old boat trailer. Its the perfect size, and not too bad shape. All but tires and bearings, should be an easy fix. Anyone know if bearings and seals are pretty much standard issue and still available? It may be as old as late 50's early 60's
Thanks

Re: TEE NEE Trailer

Tear down one spindle... pull out all bearings & races plus seal & carry to your local parts store... all bearings & races have ID numbers on them as do seals... if they do not then they can mike them to get something that will fit & make copy of reciept & put in with your papers in boat. But do not forget to keep a pair of the best old ones as spares when on the road... I would rather put in old bearing & race, seal to get me home as to be stranded on side of the road... been there!!!

fone_man
