A 50:1 With a good TC-W3 oil should be O.K. Tim

Hold on! He said the engine is air-cooled. That means you need to run TC not TC-W3. This oil is commonly referred to as weedwaker/chainsaw oil.

7.5hp "Ted Williams" were all Eskas I think, and the fuel/oil mix for them ranges 24:1-50:1 depending on year. Until you're sure of the year & model, use 24:1.

My gamefisher(1984) is air cooled and recomends TC-W oil . (at 50 to l) in a pich the book say chain saw oil can be used ( at 24 to 1) I would stay with the tc-w (3) what year is your outboard ?
