ted williams 7.5

I just got a 1975 ted williams 7.5 motor the problem is its been sitting up so i cleaned the carberator out and replace needle/seat and orange duckbill. the engine will start but will stall out when you try to give it fuel . and ic

That duckbill has been the baine of many a good repair attempt - did you get it in there with the ends of the slot at the 2 and 8 o'clock position?
