Any one have a pic of the shifter lever set up on a 7.5 ted williams ??

I got one from the dump and the lever is conected fine on the outside. Just inside, should the little spring slid on the thin ( coat hanger size) rod conected to the lever ?

And should the spring/lever slide into the hole under the motor where it can reach. with the spring compressed on the little shaft. ?

If anyone could take a pic i would love it!!

Thanks

Here's an older Eska (same as TW in the day) shifter setup.
What is your model number?
You can also go to www3.sears.com and put in your model number to get a parts diagram.

if it's a tecumseh the coathanger bent end fits into the shift handle and the strait end goes thru both loops on spring and up into the power head...
