Hello i have a ted williams 7.5 hp outboard that i am currently trying to troubleshoot and was wanting to know if anyone could give me the reccomended compression range?

there were a few entirely different motors sold as Ted Williams 7.5's - need to know model number

You have a T640-06 engine, What kind of trouble arre you having? why do you suspect compression problems?
new I would say 75lb...just guessing...

I just bought this no running motor used and checked the compression and it was about 73# and did not no if that was good for this motor or not just wanted a experts opinion.I took the carb apart and cleaned it runs great now.
