I just inherited a Simplicity 755E snowblower that HAD a Tecumseh hsk70 7hp engine.

I was told a hssk50 Tecumseh 5hp would bolt up to the unit without modification - I can get my hands on a new in box one for dirt cheap.

Can anybody verify this?
Thanks!!!

Re: Tecumseh engine questions

I can't promise that it will work but they ussually bolt up the same. I replaced a tecumseh on a toro and it was really easy.
