Hi, any one, I have 1999, 30 hp, Mercury with oil in jection. There is 1 connector from side control. Is that for techro metor? Thank you

Presumably your mean tachometer and if so, that should be the plug for it.

Do you have the wiring diagrams? If not send me a PM and I will send you a copy of the service manual.

Do you have your engine s/n?

Yes.. that looks like the pig tail for the tach..

That s/n is 0G762519 and it comes up as a 40hp:
