AAAAAAAAAND were done, Good game, maybe a few too many Penalties but I have found that in games like this Penalties are a way to kill off a period without emotions getting out of hand so I am not concerned in the least, when you think about it the 3rd period could have easily gotten out of hand as is clearly proven over history, but in this case the 3rd was a non issue.

I think that bringing in Gillies for the third was a good idea, got the young man into the tourney, so he has had game experience and in the event Gibson goes down we have a fresh top notch goalie ready to go.

Now Tomorrow brings the biggest test for Team USA in Team Russia, also the favored Team in the tourney(favored by the international press not me or any other North American, Team USA is OBVIOUSLY the Team to beat!) Game time tomorrow 9:00 am Eastern, should be a great game and I can't wait!!

I feel bad for Rob, I really wanted to watch the Canada game with him, I set my alarm for it and everything but my gawd, after Christmas I just couldn't do it, and I needed to get up for work at 4 am, so getting up 2 hours early didn't seem so bad, God I hate getting old!!

Sorry guys, definitely late to the thread...but we are a few hours behind you. I will watch the re-broadcast this afternoon. From what I have just heard about it on TSN they said the U.S was damn near perfect in the game...no mistakes, all the right moves.
So who's next for you guys? We are taking on the Slovaks tomorrow? today?....well, we are playing them (live) at 1:00 am our time after midnight tonight.
The temperature 'is a risin'.

I should say that Team Canada plays at 4:30 AM Eastern time, I'm going to have to take a nap today so that I can support my buddy Rob and be up for that game (2:30 am my time UGH)
