Hi guys I wonder if will be ok to put on my new tango skiff 13 ft x 4’ 6” transom width 9.8 4stroke outboard designer call for 6 hp capacity 500 l b total . I reinforce the transom for the extra power and weight plus haded bottom strakes about 1,2 m t on each side ,the . tango
Skiff transom is a twin tailed one design to reduce squat on small boats .the water line at transom are 4’ 1” I know a guy did put 9.8 h p on the some 13 ft tango but just want the opinion of experience sailor all opinions welcome
