tanaka tob 300

hi i have a tanaka tob 300 which is the 3hp same as the gamefisher i picked the motor up for a 100 bucks from my buddy grandfather he said it has less then 5 hrs on it run perfect well i decided to change the lower unit oil now i need a gasket for the gear case anyone no were to buy one or how thick they r so i can make one thanks for your time

Time to get out the gasket material, ballpeen hammer and punch set.
Don't you still have a fragment of the old gasket from which to judge thickness?
If I had doubt I'd try @ 1/16" thick gasket material.

i can make one easliy but someone told me it had to be the same thickness cause there are shims on the shaft i think it is 0.03 thinkness it that such a size
