taking on water

my 89 baja 21ft boat took on approx 15 gallons of water last trip out. The hull is not leaking and my hoses on the outdrive appear to not be cracked or ripped. Its an alpha 1 4.3. Every other trip it didnt have any water in it when i pulled the plug afterwards. Where could this boat be getting all of this water from?

Look down behind the engine where the shaft from the outdrive comes through. If water is coming in there, the ujoint bellows is leaking<br />Check where the shift cable comes through, there is a bellows on the water side for that also.<br />Could also be a cracked exhaust Y<br />Actually it could be anything. You have to physically look and see where it's coming from.
