Re: tachometer wire question

you are right bond-o i brainfarted my apologies let me try again i have a 1977 mercury 115 i6 1150 with the thunderbolt ignition i moved the brown wire from the switchbox to the rectifier in order to recieve a signal to my remote control tachometer connection and want to make sure it will work properly and not damage anything or give me a false or incorrect signal. Again my apologies and as always thank you for your replies
