Tachometer Switch Setting.

Make/Model:Mariner/F20E.(Standard Shaft/Electric Starts/with remotes)
Date of Manufacture:September 2008
Engine Number:OR276478

Can anyone tell me the correct tachometer switch setting for my outboard?

My quicksilver tachometer has a number of settings. 2p4c/ 3p6c/ 4p8c/ 5p/ and 6p.

I cannot find a service manual in the UK for my engine to find the correct setting because the model is too new.

According to Teleflex, 6P is the correct setting.
